Sautรฉed & Buttered Cabbage

Equipment

  • 1 medium sautรฉ or fry pan
  • 1 cutting board
  • 1 chopping knife
  • 1 spoon or spatula

Ingredients
  

  • ยผ medium cabbage roughly 2 cups of cabbage when thinly sliced
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • ยผ tsp salt
  • ยผ tsp pepper
  • ยผ tsp chili powder
  • ยผ tsp paprika
  • ยผ tsp chili powder

Instructions
 

  • De-core cabbage and discard/compost the core. Thinly slice the remaining cabbage.
  • Add butter to sautรฉ pan and melt over medium heat.
  • Once butter has melted, add cabbage, salt, pepper, and paprika and stir so cabbage is evenly covered with seasonings and butter.
  • Sautรฉ for 10 minutes or until cabbage is tender, stirring occasionally (every 2-3 minutes to prevent sticking to pan).
  • Serve warm as a side.
