Sautรฉed & Buttered Cabbage
Equipment
- 1 medium sautรฉ or fry pan
- 1 cutting board
- 1 chopping knife
- 1 spoon or spatula
Ingredients
- ยผ medium cabbage roughly 2 cups of cabbage when thinly sliced
- 3 Tbsp butter
- ยผ tsp salt
- ยผ tsp pepper
- ยผ tsp chili powder
- ยผ tsp paprika
- ยผ tsp chili powder
Instructions
- De-core cabbage and discard/compost the core. Thinly slice the remaining cabbage.
- Add butter to sautรฉ pan and melt over medium heat.
- Once butter has melted, add cabbage, salt, pepper, and paprika and stir so cabbage is evenly covered with seasonings and butter.
- Sautรฉ for 10 minutes or until cabbage is tender, stirring occasionally (every 2-3 minutes to prevent sticking to pan).
- Serve warm as a side.
